What is a ComedySportz match?

Two teams competing for laughs and points while they play short improvised games. (Ever seen Whose Line Is It Anyways? It’s like that, but the points DO matter!) One referee keeps the match moving forward, and an audience full of loyal fanz determine the winner. Games are selected fresh for each match from a list of over a hundred games, and every thing is made up completely on the spot. Who can come to a match?

Anyone 5-105 who likes to laugh! ComedySportz has something for everyone—we are all ages friendly all the time so ComedySportz is great for date night or family night. You can bring anyone: co-workers, kids, college students, your best friend, your worst enemy, your grandparents or your boss! Lots of laughs and no offensive content.

How long is a match?

Matches at Madcap Education Center are typically 1.5 hours, including a 10 minute half time. Matches at Clifton Comedy Theatre are 1 hour long, no half time.

Do I need tickets in advance?

If you want to be guaranteed a seat—yes! Tickets are $15. Ticket sales at the door begin 30 minutes prior to the match. All seats are general admission. If you’re interested in hosting a large group (10 or more) email us to learn about group pricing and reserve your tickets at laugh@cszcincinnati.com

Will there be snacks and drinks?

At Madcap Education Center, yes! There is a full bar, along with soft drinks and snacks available for purchase before the show and during half-time.

Where should I park?

The Madcap Education Center is located at 3064 Harrison Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45211. There is a free parking lot next to the building which you are welcome to park in, as well as plentiful street parking and a pay lot near W Bar + Bistro. ComedySportz cannot validate parking.

At Clifton Comedy Theatre street parking can be found along Ludlow and the surrounding side streets. We recommend downloading the EZ Park app for quick and easy payment at parking meters.
